I’m Benjamin Beesley, born and raised in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake is the perfect city for me when it comes to live, work & play. Along with growing up in Salt Lake, my family has strong historical ties being pioneers and helping settle and build the Salt Lake Valley.

A little about my Real Estate Career: In the fall of 2007 I started my career in real estate. I joined Keller Williams Salt Lake City as a full time real estate agent. The market at this time was extremely volatile with property values decreasing rapidly, looming foreclosures about to be exposed and lending guidelines changing daily. I remember thinking to myself, “Maybe this was not the best decision to get into real estate” when many of my peers in the business were closing shop and getting out of the business. This was probably the best decision I could have made looking back at my brief career. I spent the first 5 years of my real estate career building a very successful distressed property business, helping many property owners avoid foreclosure, and helping banks mitigate losses felt during the downfall of the real estate market. In 2008 I was awarded Rookie of the Year for top new sales agent. In 2011 my team was recognized as a top performing team for Keller Williams Salt Lake City. Fast forward to the present and my business has changed dramatically from what I originally started to build in 2007. Of my current business 90% is repeat or referral clients. I have dismantled the idea of building a large team as I believe it turns clients into transactions rather than business partners and personalized service; advice and expertise becomes seriously lacking with the team concept. I have built a reputation for being direct and honest with my clients and providing sound judgment when analyzing and negotiating real estate. I currently serve on the Keller Williams Salt Lake City board of directors besides running my own real estate group, Beesley & Company.

A Little Personal Info: I am a husband to my wife Victoria, who is easily out of my class. We have a bright precocious teenager, Angel, who is attending the University of Utah and also working with me handling a lot of the office related tasks. I recently sold my half acre “mini farm” in the heart of Sugarhouse and moved to east Millcreek. I love vegetable gardening and have been accused of being a farmer at heart on multiple occasions. There is nothing wrong with farmers as they aren’t scared of hard work. In the winters my free time is spent snowboarding and sometimes if I don’t have free time, I can still be caught snowboarding. I have recently caught the mountain bike bug to hold me over when the snow isn’t flying. When the weekends come I can be found leading my family on an adventure of some sort into the wilderness. I say this with a definitive voice, camping in Utah is tough to beat. I love exploring new places, terrain, horizons and vistas off the beaten path in my backyard called Utah and that’s really why I drive a truck instead of the cliché real estate agent automobile.
